It might be hard to find an invite with more customized illustration than these watercolor wedding invitations…. We were able to paint the bride’s venue for her, a beautiful country farmhouse, with the barn on the wrap. The rehearsal dinner card featured a simple ocean scene to set the mood for a seaside dinner, and a personalized timeline shows the bride and groom’s story, and wedding events. The set even included a special watercolor Southwest landscape art piece (from the couple’s travels) on the back of the timeline, as a keepsake gift for the guests.
To glam up the watercolor scenes, we added lots and lots of gold hand painted highlights for glitter and texture. A classic pocketfold presentation keeps everything neatly arranged, and adds an extra touch of formality.
All in all, a lovely, lighthearted suite, with just the right combination of a rustic setting and shimmery, elegant details.
